Ben Langton Burnell is dreaming big after throwing further than he's ever thrown before.
The retirement of three-time Olympian Stuart Farquhar has seen the Palmerston North javelin thrower become New Zealand's No 1.
And Langton Burnell is looking on point to emulate, and potentially better, his idol's achievements after finally cracking the 80m distance at Hamilton's Porritt Classic last Saturday, which means the 24-year-old is likely to compete at next year's Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
